In addition to financial support to families of officers who have been disabled or lost their Life in the line of duty, The Bluecoats of Barnstable also provides funding to the Barnstable Police Department for the purchase of equipment, training, and other such items which are necessary, but otherwise unfunded within the department’s annual budget.
